Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. is Now Bundling Smith Micro's Video Conferencing Software With its New Computers
ALISO VIEJO, CA - Smith Micro Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI) today announced that Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. ("MEI"), (NYSE: MC) has started bundling Smith Micro's VideoLinkTM software with Panasonic Let's note comm/C33 computers. This advanced portable solution includes a video camera integrated into the hardware and a Japanese-language version of Smith Micro's video conferencing software. VideoLink provides for high-quality video and audio communication over the Internet, intranets, common telephone lines, and high-speed digital wiring ("ISDN") lines.
Panasonic Let's note comm/C33 PC users will be able to record and save high-resolution video images and audio messages, communicate visually in video conferencing settings and with other PC users over the Internet and the many corporate/government agency intranets.
