MoreMr. Arno is currently Senior Advisor of Unterberg Capital, an investment advisory firm he co-founded in 2009 that invests exclusively in technology value stocks with a long-term holding orientation. Mr. Arno was previously Vice Chairman, as well as a Board Member of Merriman & Co. (NASDAQ: MERR).
Mr. Arno also previously served as a Managing Director of Collins Stewart LLC, an investment-banking firm. In July 2007, Collins Stewart acquired C.E. Unterberg, Towbin. Mr. Arno joined C.E. Unterberg, Towbin in 1990 as Managing Director, responsible for all Capital Markets transactions, and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2006.
From 1987 through 1989, Mr. Arno was a Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where served as a Financial Consultant from 1981 to 1987, he was a Vice President in the Individual Investors Services Division of L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin Holdings, Inc., serving as a portfolio manager for high net-worth individuals.
Mr. Arno is a graduate of George Washington University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of New York Service for the Handicapped, and is the Treasurer of the Manhattan JCC.
