Venture Capital Specialist Adds Extensive Internet, Banking and M&A Experience to Board
ALISO VIEJO, CA - Smith Micro Software, Inc. (Nasdaq NMS: SMSI) announced today that David M. Stastny has joined the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Stastny is the founder of Osprey Ventures, LP, a venture capital fund that invests primarily in private and early stage pubic companies involved in developing and marketing Internet, communications, and other software products. Investors in the fund are senior management, board members and other industry leaders of similar companies. Prior to starting Osprey Ventures, Mr. Stastny held positions as Managing Director at SoundView Partners, LLC; a Managing Director of Investment Banking for Oppenheimer & Co.; and Vice President of Investment Banking at Robertson, Stephens, & Company.
