Are Mobile Hotspots Heating Up?
700 Users Sound Off
According to the latest survey conducted by Smith Micro and uSamp, 62% of consumers tap smartphones for hotspot capabilities, an increase of 9% since last May. However, users still have concerns around cost, usability and plan options.
With personal mobile hotspots on the rise, proactive operators such as T-Mobile are taking notice of this growing market and offering incentives for consumers such as including hotspot service with their monthly data plan. Providing meaningful services to users also means understanding their pain points and providing features deemed valuable by the consumer.
In this survey, we polled over 700 smartphone users and asked them questions around their hotspot usage, satisfaction, plan options and preferred features. In this webinar we will discuss survey results and the relevance to today’s mobile operator.
