CEO to Convey Market Positioning and 2005 Growth Strategies

ALISO VIEJO, CA - Smith Micro Software Inc. (NASDAQ: SMSI), a developer and marketer of a wide range of software for the consumer and enterprise, today announced it will present to technology investors at Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. 2nd Annual Investor Summit 2005 Conference. The conference will be held on September 19th-21st, 2005 at The Mark Hopkins InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco. The event will be attended by a select group of institutional portfolio managers and analysts.

Smith Micro's President and CEO, William W. Smith, Jr., will discuss the Company's market positioning and 2005 growth strategies to expand its leadership position in the wireless, broadband and Internet technologies markets.
