Smith Micro Updates VideoLink Pro for Mac To Include VideoLink World Support

VideoLink World is a New Online Community of H.323 Videoconferencing Users that Provides a Simple Way to Locate Other Internet Users for Video Conferencing

ALISO VIEJO, CA -- Smith Micro Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI), today announced the release of its new VideoLink® Pro for the Mac, the only standards-based videoconferencing solution available for the Mac. This unique product utilizes H.323 standards to allow users to not only connect to other Mac users, but also to Windows users who are running H.323 standards-based videoconferencing products. In addition to enhancing our product's performance, support for H.261 video compression was added to allow greater compatibility with other videoconferencing systems.

VideoLink® World is a free Internet service. VideoLink World allows users to meet and collaborate on-line. The website allows users to create public or private meeting rooms, and registered users can be called by simply clicking on their name.
