Healthcare
Healthcare benefits include a choice between HMO and PPO medical plans, full dental and vision plans, and coverage for alternative medicine choices like chiropractic and acupuncture. Long-term and short-term disability policies cover the employee, along with a life insurance policy valued at twice their annual salary. All of these are provided to the employee for next to nothing. Dependents are eligible for the medical, dental, and vision plans at a cost of less than 20% of the actual premiums.
Retirement
Smith Micro supports your retirement planning by offering a full-spectrum 401k where you can invest in your choice of 19 different funds. All pre-tax deductions, up to the IRS maximum, receive a 20% company match. There is also a Roth option available for after-tax contributions.
Time-Off
Our time-off program has three components. Each year there are 11 paid holidays. Sick time and vacation time are available on an accrual basis with 6 sick days per year and 12-20 vacation days per year for 1-8 years of service.
